Community Service Opportunities for grades 9 & 10
- Help in a Faith Formation Classroom We have Faith Formation class for PreK-1st on Sunday mornings from 10:15-10:45 and grades 2nd-6th on Wednesday from 6-6:45PM. Volunteers assist the teacher and interact with the younger kids. Holiday inspired fun days happen through out the year, volunteers help with holiday inspired crafts, snacks and activities. -Book Fairy at Traditions Our public library rotates books in the library at Traditions. They prepare the book, we pick them up from the library and swap the new books with the old books. Old books get returned to the library. This is done quarterly.
- Vacation Bible School We offer Vacation Bible School during the summer. usually the week after Kolacky Days. VBS runs Monday - Thursday from 6-8PM. Volunteers will help with food, games and crafts as well as participate in songs and stories.
- Trunk or Treat On Halloween we host a Trunk or Treat in the front parking lot from 2:45-5PM (we move it inside if we have cold or inclement weather). Volunteers can help decorate, hang out candy, or run a craft or game.
-Operation Christmas Child We pack 30 boxes for Operation Christmas Child every year in November.
-Soldier Christmas Boxes We pack soldier Christmas gifts at the beginning of December. We sent gifts to those deployed over sees and to our local veterans.
-Wednesday Night Dinners Prepare and serve dinner for our Faith Formation students. Dinner is served at 5:30PM.
-Christmas Program Our Christmas Program in the Sunday before Christmas. Volunteers help the day of the program with costumes and props and assist back stage.
-Spring Cleaning Day Spring cleaning at church happens at church in late April. Volunteers help with cleaning and organizing inside and outside church.
